• Grooming: The Bergamasco's coat requires regular maintenance throughout their adult life. • Exercise: As a working breed, Bergamascos require plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Aim for at least 30-60 minutes of exercise daily, which can include activities like walking, running, hiking, or playing fetch.  The Bergamasco is used to tending to its flock high up in the Alps so it will happily go on long hikes.  In fact, it's an ideal breed for thoe who love to be out in the fresh air. It's important to ensure that your Bergamasco has plenty of opportunities for physical and mental stimulation to prevent boredom and destructive behavior.

• Health care: Like all dogs, Bergamascos require regular veterinary checkups, vaccinations, and parasite prevention. Keep up-to-date with their vaccinations and schedule regular check-ups to monitor their health. Whilst the Bergamasco is an exceptionally healthy breed, some are prone to certain health issues, such as hip dysplasia, so it's important to watch for signs of pain or discomfort and seek veterinary care as needed.
